New uploads in January - We're still working to upload sets of pre-made furniture assemblies into as many categories as possible. This month we added 20 office assemblies (with more coming), ad 20 outdoor patio arrangements. Assemblies are now available in the living room, dining, bedroom, outdoor, and office categories. Approximately 20 additional lamps and pendant lights were also uploaded.

It is difficult to accurately frame vertical images in the SketchUp viewport, because the viewport window shows more that what we need for the composition. SketchUp and Podium do not have any sort of "resolution or aspect ratio mask" to indicate the bounds of your render.
The typical workflow for vertical images is to approximate the composition and then crop out anything we don't need in post, but this can add hours of unnecessary rendering calculations if you're rendering 16:9 when you actually need something much narrower.
The linked video provides a very simple solution for composing vertical images, using Julia Eneroth's Viewport Resize plugin, which lets you scale your SketchUp viewport to the exact aspect ratio needed for your final image.

Please be assured that this is an passive designation that Trimble introduced in SU 2017/2018; it has no relevance to the functionality of SU Podium, and is not the underlying cause of any Bug Splats or performance issues.
The only potential conflict that may arise from an unsigned plugin is if your extension loading policy is set to "Identified Extensions Only." If this is the case, please set your loading policy to "Unrestricted" from the Extension Manager settings dialog (as seen below).
