SU Podium V2.6.044 - Compatible with SketchUp 2020

SU Podium V2.6.044 was released for both Windows and Mac — This version is compatible with SketchUp 2020, and also addresses installation & licensing bugs that made the process difficult for schools and corporations with strict security/network protocols.

  • If you are updating to SketchUp 2020 — you do not need to uninstall SU Podium from your previous SketchUp version.
  • You DO need to deactivate your SU Podium license before updating to prevent the old version from tying up one of your two activations.  Go to Extensions > SU Podium V2.6 > License and click 'Deactivate'.
  • How to update - V2.6.044 is available via both .rbz and executable installers. The .rbz installers are meant for users on computers with a single user account. The .rbz version sould be installed from the SketchUp Extension Manager.
  • The executable .exe/.pkg installers should be run with SketchUp closed, and are recommended for corporations or schools with more than one user account per computer. New install instructions can be found here - SU Podium installation guide.

Note — This is not a feature update, so if you already have V2.6.043 installed and working, there is no urgent need to update. The update is primarily recommended for anyone who has had problems licensing their current version.

Reminder — SU Podium V2.6 was a paid upgrade. There is not an SU Podium V2.5 version available for SketchUp 2020, so V2.5 users will need to upgrade in order to use SU Podium with SketchUp 2020.

You can read more about the SU Podium V2.6 upgrade here.

SU Podium V2.6 upgrade - Price increase coming soon

The upgrade price from SU Podium V2.5 to V2.6 will increase on April 1.

ProWalker GPU now supports colored light emitting materials, so all your bases are covered for neon signage, atmospheric mood lighting, LED smartbulbs, and of course retro diners in space.
