SU Podium V2.6 is NOT yet compatible with SketchUp 2021
SU Podium V2.6 for SketchUp 2021 is currently our top priority. There were changes to the Ruby API in SketchUp 2021, so it will take some time to update the software and test the new version. We will release an update compatible with SketchUp 2021 as soon as possible, but most likely not before the first week of December.
ProWalker GPU V1.2.5 will be released for SketchUp 2021 after we finish updating Podium.
Beta available - ProWalker V1.2.5 will include support for NVIDIA 30xx Ampere GPUs. If you already have an Ampere card and would like to try the beta, you can find it here.
Please note that this is not yet an official release. Ampere support for earlier SketchUp versions will follow later.
Podium Browser 2020 standalone - The Podium Brower 2020 standalone plugin does work in SketchUp 2021 for licensed Podium Browser standalone users.
This video demonstrates a simple trick to soften the sun's shadows and sunspots by editing a single parameter in the render preset.
Since this trick only requires the user to edit a single number, it is a very straitforward introduction to preset editing. If you've ever wanted to experiment with render settings that aren't visible in the user interface, this would be a great place to start!
Recent Podium Browser uploads include outdoor seating from Blue Dot and Safivah, Pompy storage shelves, bookcases, and desks, and additional 3D plants and trees.
All SU Podium V2.6 licenses come with full access to Podium Browser paid content, which contains over 20,000 high quality, render-ready components, with additional models, materials, and light fixtures being added every month.
If you are already an SU Podium V2.5 user, purchasing the V2.6 upgrade for $59 is currently the most cost effective way to gain access Podium Browser content.
Podium Browser is still available as a standalone plugin for only $99.00. To see the full range of new Browser content, open the Podium Browser web page. Click on Agree, then click on Show only recent files to see the latest.
