New ten part introductory video series
We have refreshed the getting started videos to incorporate interface changes and new tools in V2.5/2.6, and provide a deeper, more comprehensive introduction to SU Podium.
The eighth video in the getting started series, which demonstrates three ways to use LEM materials in an interior. Watch the whole series below.
This is now the recommended starting point for beginners to SU Podium, with several supplemental additions coming soon.
Panorama tip - Gyroscope not working on iPhone
The recent iOS 12.2 udate has casued the the gyroscope to be turned off by default in Safari, meaning panoramas will no longer use the the gyroscope for position tracking unless specific actions are taken.
Solution: Two steps must be taken to restore gyroscope functionality with Podium panoramas.
- Go into Safari settings and make sure Motion & Orientation Access is switched ON. (Pictured right)
- You must view panoramas from the secure https site — In other words, instead of viewing your panorama from http://panopdm.com, make sure you use https://panopdm.com when you need the gyroscope.
