Troubleshooting Tip - How to import images for rendering

Demonstrates how to correctly import images so that they show up in SU Podium renders.

Question — Why isn't my imported image visible in my SU Podium renders?

Answer — There are two ways to import image files into SketchUp: as an "image" or as a "texture". Image files imported with the image option are useful for references images and floor plans, but are invisible to the Podium camera and will not appear in a render. The solution, as demonstrated in the video, is to "explode" the image plane to convert it to a material, or to simply create a SketchUp material from scratch and import the image from the material interface.
