 SU Podium V2.5.8 for SU 2018 is now available

SU Podium V2.5.8 has been released for SketchUp 2016, 2017, and 2018.

SketchUp 2018 has just been released and SU Podium V2.5.8 is ready to download. This update extends support for SketchUp 2018, introduces several new features in Podium Image Editor, and packs all the previously available Podium Extras into the main Podium installation, these being:

  1. Light Fixture Outliner - Select and edit Podium lights more efficiently.
  2. Nudge - Random or uniform translation, scale, rotation.
  3. GenerateAll and RenderAll - Batch rendering utilities.
  4. CubicVR - Non-photorealistic panoramas from SU viewport.
  5. Reset edge smoothing to default on all materials.
  6. Analyse tool now identifies and corrects textures without file extensions.

  V2.5.8 - New features in Podium Image Editor

Several new tools were added to Podium Image Editor in the SU Podium v2.5.8 update.

  1. White banance and temperature sliders
  2. New line overlay / masking feature.
  3. Curves tool (similar to that in Photoshop)
  4. Adaptive Contrast using "Advanced Histogam Equalization"

In development - Adaptive Contrast will eventually be implemented in the Panorama server as an adaptive exposure equalizer that brightens or darkens the Pano VR depending on where the camera is pointing, roughly mirroring the way the eye adapts to variable lighting conditions.
