For this month's featured image set, we've got a beautifully designed kitchen by Jozef Lepieš. The two medium-close images included in this set perfectly demonstrate how properly bevelled edges can really improve the way your models catch light. If you haven't tried the Fredo RoundCorners extension, it is highly, highly recommended. You'll also need to install the LibFredo6 library which can be found here.

SU Podium V2.19.08 employs a significantly improved Podium Exporter written in C++. Previous versions used a very efficient ruby code to export SketchUp geometry, textures, and camera position to Podium's raytracing engine. However, the new C++ Podium Exporter can export geometry and textures (materials) to the raytracing engine at speeds up to 10 times faster.
For larger models, the difference can be extremely substantial: In recent tests Podium V2.19.08 finished processing a scene with approximately 750,000 faces and 140 materials in 43 seconds compared to 12 minutes using previous Podium versions.
