    Note: You do not need to download Podium Browser if you have SU Podium Version 2 or V2 Plus. It is installed with SU Podium V2/ V2 Plus. Furthermore, if you only want to use Podium Browser and not SU Podium, you can download the free trial of SU Podium V2 and continue to use Podium Browser after the Podium V2 trial has expired.

    Installing Podium Browser. Your Options.

      1. Install SU Podium V2 which includes Podium Browser. The easiest option is to install SU Podium V2, if you do not have it now, which includes Podium Browser. Install the free trial version of SU Podium V2 from the free trial page.
      2. If you do not want to use SU Podium V2. If you absolutely do not want to use SU Podium V2 Plus or download the trial version, please download the zipped file that contains SU_Podium_Browser.rbz file. Unzip the .zip file. Then use SketchUp 8 or 2013 or 2014, Install Extensions, located in the SketchUp Preferences/ Extensions dialog box. Use Install Extensions to install the SU_Podium_Browser.rbz file. This .rbz file will work with Windows or Mac but it will not install if you have SketchUp 7. Download here.

        Important Note: If you install this SU_Podium_Browser.rbz file and then later, purchase and install SU Podium V2 or V2 Plus, you will see an error message when you start SketchUp:
          Error Loading File SU_Podium_Browser/SU_Podium_Browser_Loader.rb Could not find included file 'SU_Podium_Browser/SU_Podium_Browser_Loader.rb'
        You simply need to un-check the SU_Podium_Browser_V2 extension from SketchUp's Extension programs and restart SketchUp to correct this error.

    OmniGrid for SU Podium V2 and V2 Plus

    Omni Grid is a plug-in for SU Podium V2 or for Podium Walker that allows you to create a grid of point lights or omni lights above or below a planar surface (SketchUp face). By creating a grid of omni lights Omni Grid creates a relatively even source of light over a wide space. It is best for interior rendering. A superior even source of light is LEM in SU Podium V2.

      Installing the .rbz Extension. Download the .rbz file save it to a folder you can access. Open SketchUp and go to SketchUp Preferences. Pick Extensions. Then Install Extensions. SketchUp default file format for extensions is .rbz. Select OmniGrid.rbz to install the Extension automatically. Once this is complete, OmniGrid will be available from the context menu in SketchUp when you select a face.

      Installing the zipped .rbz file.. Some browsers will not download .rbz files correctly. Download the zipped .rbz file save it to your download folder. Then unzip the .zip file. You should see a .rbz file. Open SketchUp and go to SketchUp Preferences. Pick Extensions. Then Install Extensions. SketchUp default file format for extensions is .rbz. Select OmniGrid.rbz to install the Extension automatically. Once this is complete, OmniGrid will be available from the context menu in SketchUp when you select a face.

    Make Fur plugin by Takuji Hatakawa aka tak2hata

    Make Fur plugin is not a Cadalog, Inc. program. However, we recommend it for use with 2½D Grass from Podium Browser. Download the RBZ file from here.

      Installing the .rbz Extension. Download the .rbz file from either SketchUcation or from this web page. Download the fur_en_v2.rbz file and save it to a folder you can access. Open SketchUp and go to SketchUp Preferences. Pick Extensions. Then install Extensions. SketchUp default file format for extensions is .rbz. Select fur_en_v2.rbz to install the Extension automatically. Once this is complete, the Fur icon tool bar will display. Also the Fur pull down menu will display in SketchUp plug-ins.

      Please note: Cadalog does not provide support for Cadalog gear. This is a free plug-in.
      Involute Gears Create 3D true involute gears in SketchUp. This program will create involute spur gears with or without shaft keys. After installing the .rbz, go to the Draw menu. You will see both Involute Gear and Key Involute Gear options. Be aware - the involute gears get placed at 0,0,0. They are grouped so you can move and rotate them. Push/pull on the face to make them 3D.

    IFC2SKP for Windows, SketchUp 8 and SketchUp 2013. Does not work on SketchUp 2014.

    IFC2SKP Standard Windows Installer - Windows only.

    This is a .msi file which is a traditional installer. Not an .RBZ file. Some users have reported problems with the .rbz file. Download this file to your download folder. Then, run this file by double clicking on it. If you are using SketchUp 2013, make sure that you select the \program files (x86)\sketchup\sketchup 2013\plugins\ folder during install.

    Version 1.7.3 is version prior to Version 2. You will need your nine digit serial number to run this. However, we strongly urge you to upgrade to SU Podium V2 while the upgrade price is still available. Read here to compare versions.

    Customers who are still using Podium 1.x and need to download Podium 1.x again, should download Podium 1.7.3. Podium 1.7.3 supports SketchUp 8. You will need your SU Podium 1.x serial number to install the SU Podium 1.7.3 full programs. If you can not find your serial number, please do NOT contact Cadalog, Inc. We no longer support SU Podium 1.7.3.
