What's New in Version 1.2.7
- Correct shadow casting.
Intel's Embree intersection calculation engine was employed in Podium Walker with version 1.2.3. This makes photo-realistic video animation that include SketchUp 2D Face-me components, render much more quickly than previous versions. There was a bug to do with this Embree engine in that the shadows of 2D face-me components such as Plants from Podium Browser, were cast incorrectly. This has been fixed.

shadow casting in V1.2.7 |
- Save light panel settings as your own preset.
In V1.2.7, you can now save the light panel settings in your own preset to be used over again. Light Panel settings allows you to change light variables like sun, ambient, omni and add light filters to the Podium Walker environment. These settings can now be saved in your own presets to be used over again in any Podium Walker session.
The gamma setting that brightens mid tones levels has been improved as well.
