SU Podium V2, V2 Plus, V2.5 Mac Uninstall

    SketchUp 8 Mac Uninstall to SU Podium V2 or V2 Plus

    Note: If you remove SU Podium V2 folders, you will lose your license code. Please locate your license code first and save it. Here's are three alternative ways to find your SU Podium license.

    1. Before removing SU Podium, open SketchUp, open the Plugins pull down menu, look in the SU Podium V2 menu for License and invoke License. This will display your license code.
    2. Find your email receipt from Cadalog, Inc. or from your reseller that has the license code in it with your purchase information.
    3. If you created an account with a user name and password on webstore.cadaloginc.com, open this account, locate your order and see the license code for SU Podium V2.

    Using the uninstall-podium8.app to automatically remove.
    1. If you need to uninstall SU Podium V2 from your Mac, the easiest way is to use the uninstall-podium8-app.
    2. Download the .zipped file named uninstall-podium-8.app.zip to your download folder.
    3. Then open or unzip the uninstall-podium-8.app.zip so that you have uninstall-podium-8.app
    4. This is an unsigned program so you may see a message from the Mac that says this: Package can not be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Ignore this message and right click on the uninstall-podium-8.app and use the default Mac installer. After installing.
    5. Run uninstall-podium8.app. This remove all the SU Podium folders and files so that you can install V2 or V2 Plus again.

SketchUp 2014/ 2015 users. If you are upgrading to V2.5.x, you must uninstall the previous vesion of SU Podium.

    3. Then open or unzip the uninstall-podium-2014.zip so that you have uninstall-podium-2014.app
    4. This is a signed program but it is possible that you wil see a message from the Mac that says this: Package can not be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. If you see that, ignore this message and right click on the uninstall-podium-2014.app and use the default Mac installer.
    5. Run uninstall-podium2014.app. This remove all the SU Podium folders and files that are in the SketchUp 2014 plugins folder in both the Macintosh globally directory and your User director.

SketchUp 2015 Mac Uninstall of SU Podium V2 Plus

    Using the uninstall-podium-2016.app to automatically remove SU Podium.
    1. If you need to uninstall SU Podium V2.5.x Plus from your SketchUp 2016 Mac, the east way is to use the uninstall-podium-2016.app.
    2. Download the .zipped file named uninstall-podium-2016.zip to your download folder.
    3. Then open or unzip the uninstall-podium-2016.zip so that you have uninstall-podium-2016.app
    4. This is a signed program. But you might see a message like this: Package can not be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. If you see that, ignore this message and right click on the uninstall-podium-2016.app and use Open with the default Mac installer.
    5. Run uninstall-podium-2016.app. This remove all the SU Podium folders and files that are in the SketchUp 2016 plugins folder in both the Macintosh globally directory and your User director.
      Manual method to uninstall V2.5.x for SU 2016 on the Mac. Go to Macintosh HD\Library\Application Support\SketchUp 2016\SketchUp\Plugins\ folder and remove this file or folder.

      2. SU_Podium_V2.5 folder
      Macintosh HD folder is often referred to as the Global directory. It will be listed as one of your devices in Finder. If it is not listed in Finder, go to Finder Preferences, Sidebar and check Hard disks under Devices. You may need to go to the General icon in Finder Preferences and make sure Macintosh HD is listed in "New Finder windows show:"
      If the Mac OS such as Yosemite or El Capitan are hiding the Library folder, use the Finder menu item Go and select Go to Folder. Then enter the word library. This action will force the Mac to open the library folder. The open Application Support ----->Sketchup 2016 ----->SketchUp -----> Plugins.
